This Colombian insurgent group, established in the 1960s, oversees drug trafficking, extortion, smuggling, and the unlawful extraction of gold and coltan in border regions such as Zulia, Táchira, Apure, and Amazonas – and collaborates with corrupt individuals within the Venezuelan government.
