For those craving more AI videos, Meta AI’s latest Vibes feed will provide an endless supply.

On Thursday, Meta AI rolled out a fresh feed featuring short, AI-created videos named Vibes. This feed aims to motivate users to remix videos produced by AI from “creators and communities,” according to the company. Users can upload their own AI-crafted videos to Vibes or share them across Meta’s platforms for their friends and followers.
Though AI-generated content is seemingly present everywhere, the dedicated Vibes feed for AI videos is accessible exclusively through the Meta AI app.
Vibes takes the place of the Discover feed, which allowed users to showcase their prompts and interactions with Meta AI to their followers. At that time, Meta’s VP of product Connor Hayes told The Verge that the feed aimed to demonstrate “what people can achieve with” AI.
Vibes represents the subsequent phase of that initiative, concentrating exclusively on video rather than prompts. It’s “crafted to facilitate the discovery of creative sparks and experimentation with Meta AI’s media tools,” the company stated. Videos showcased in Vibes appear adjacent to the prompt responsible for their creation. One video featuring a group of exceptionally fluffy and muscular mountain goats gallivanting down a snowy hillside apparently stemmed from the prompt:
“mountain goats leaping through deep snow; snowy alpine mountain range; majestic exhilarating atmosphere; bright cold natural daylight –sref 1616409542 –sref 4039725326 –stylize 200”
Users have the capability to remix videos by altering or adding music, modifying the visuals, or changing the animations. The newly created videos can be uploaded to the Vibes feed or shared on Instagram or Facebook as a story or Reel. Within Instagram, users can tap on Meta AI videos and remix them using the Meta AI app.
AI functionalities have emerged across the company’s offerings, enabling users to create AI images on Facebook, Instagram, and Whatsapp. Last month, Meta announced a collaboration with AI image creator Midjourney.
