NBC News’s David Ingram examined a month’s worth of Elon Musk’s posts on X (our sympathies). While his findings weren’t especially shocking, it was still captivating to see the statistics presented clearly. From September 17th to October 17th, he shared 1,716 posts, averaging slightly more than 55 posts daily. 49 percent of those were centered around politics, typically on the outskirts of mainstream thought. He appears particularly fixated on the ethnicity of individuals featured on TV and in films, including targeting child actors.
Other subjects Elon enjoys discussing? Crime, Tesla — and naturally, himself. Over the course of the month, Elon mentioned himself 109 times. He frequently even shares posts from his own fan accounts that exist solely to bolster his self-image. We already recognized that Elon had a penchant for posting controversial political opinions and engaging in self-promotion, but now we have concrete evidence to substantiate this.
