Jenny on Nova
What were you expecting?
Someone I could connect with, have a good laugh with, and not feel awkward around.
Initial thoughts?
When Nova showed up, hoodie, attitude and all, I thought: “Oh no, it’s the tough guy from year 10.” But then he grinned, apologized for his delay, called it a red flag himself, and within seconds we were laughing. I found him surprisingly endearing.
What was the conversation about?
It was a genuinely natural exchange. He asked questions, I asked questions, and neither one of us dominated the conversation. Quite rare and refreshing.
Most uncomfortable moment?
There were no uncomfortable moments at all.
How were his dining manners?
Exemplary. No chewing with his mouth open, no cutlery disaster, and not a single slurp.
What was great about Nova?
He’s hilarious, carries a true gentleman vibe, and is completely down to earth. He offered me his jacket at the end of the night, and it didn’t feel cliché. Plus, his dog impression – 10 out of 10 absurd, but it had me in stitches.
Would you introduce Nova to your friends?
Absolutely, he’d be in the group chat without a doubt.
Summarize Nova in three words
Humorous, authentic, unexpectedly suave.
What impression do you think Nova had of you?
I believe he found me likable. We chatted continuously and shared a playful kiss at the end.
Did you continue somewhere else?
Yes.
And … did a kiss happen?
A quick one to wrap up the evening. A classic finish to an unexpectedly delightful date.
If you could adjust one thing about the night, what would it be?
Just the six-minute wait and mistaking every male for my date. I was tired out before the poor guy even showed up.
Rating out of 10?
Strong nine.
Would you meet again?
Yes – I’d like to see where it leads.

Nova on Jenny
What were you expecting?
A complimentary meal and good energy – I received both!
Initial thoughts?
Wow, this girl has a strong tolerance for drinks.
What was discussed?
We spent the evening imitating various accents. I’m not very good at accents, but I can do an impressive dog impression.
Most uncomfortable moment
The waiter inquired about her allergies and she misheard and responded, “Thanks, you as well.”
How were her dining manners?
We both decided not to judge each other on this, but it felt like the classic prisoner’s dilemma: are we both committed to behaving?
What was great about Jenny?
She held her own during an arm-wrestling match.
Would you introduce Jenny to your friends?
Absolutely!
Summarize Jenny in three words
Witty, charming, and lively.
What impression do you think Jenny had of you?
A cool guy? I’m not quite sure.
Did you continue somewhere else?
We headed to a bar.
And … did a kiss occur?
A wise person advised me to avoid kissing and telling.
If you could alter one thing about the night, what would it be?
While she attempted to show me something on her phone, a guy’s completely nude video popped up. I wish that didn’t happen, but it was humorous.
Rating out of 10?
Nine – one point taken off for that incident (just kidding, it was more amusing than problematic).
Would you meet again?
I think we might.
