“This initiative will commence with platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, Bigo Live, and Roblox,” stated Hafid, noting that the prohibition would position Indonesia as “the inaugural non-Western nation to restrict children’s access to digital environments based on age”.
