We obtained our first full glimpse at the forthcoming Wonder Man series, while Marvel is busy planning a variety of shows. Aside from Wonder Man, the company didn’t arrive at New York Comic Con with precise release dates for any project. What we received were rough release timeframes and a few intriguing hints regarding future endeavors.
The second season of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is slated for launch in the autumn of 2026. While many specifics remain unclear, the head of Marvel Television and Marvel Animation, Brad Winderbaum, mentioned that the narrative will include a “black, oozy substance.” We can only hope the series will manage that particular story arc more adeptly than Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 3 accomplished.
X-Men ‘97 will also be receiving a second season, which is expected to launch in summer 2026. Eric and Julia Lewald, the creators behind X-Men: The Animated Series, along with Larry Houston, who directed a majority of the original series, will be joining the project as executive producers.
Before then, another season of Daredevil: Born Again is set to roll out in March, with a confirmed third season already in development. The initial season of Born Again was somewhat inconsistent, but the latter half was surprisingly robust. We are keen to see how the series progresses, especially with Krysten Ritter making her return as Jessica Jones.
Finally, Winderbaum confirmed that VisionQuest is set to conclude the narrative that began with WandaVision sometime in 2026, although no more specific timeline was provided.
